> People like things, and want more of the things they like. Why shouldn't we prolong their enjoyment where we can? How does it harm us? This is an opinion, no one is asking a ban on making more Marvel or Star Wars universe movies.

IMO this is a different issue. If you change your partner say every week it doesnt mean that you have less sex. Also in my (limited) experience the "swinger" type people who constantly cheat (=more sex) or just have one night rela

Yep, and the same thing is true for the other giants - Amazon, Google, Microsoft. We're already living in a world where most segments of your life are taxed in a way from these 3. In a few years they will cannibalize the rest.

Where I live its the legal right of bicyclists to use the road in the same manner as cars do. Just because your vehicle is less agile than yours, they are not inconsiderate, e.g. you would not honk on trucks just because they accelerate slo

It's fucking scary, that this was recognized in 1987. In the 80s and even in the 90s most places did complex operations on newborns without any kind of painkillers -- imagine a heart surgery without painkillers. Not to mention "si

Except that the current USB-C situation is a mess, and this regulation plans to solve this. I got a pretty expensive HP monitor for work from my company that connects via USB-C (and can charge my Mac). IT has sworn me to not loose its USB-C

hmm while I do believe that your laptop is pretty loud, I seriusly doubt that it could damage your hearing. Ear damage occurs over 90-100 decibels, this is akin to leaning close to a loud vacuum and magnitudes greater than any laptop.

Where I'm from (EU) experts say that prices will stagnate amd the market will slow down. On one hand the high inflation pushes out lots of buyers -- they can't or don't want to pay the high interest rates. This lowers demand

Russian propaganda works in a different way than western one. They know that they cant compete with western news behemots like CNN, BBC,... so they go alternative ways -- trying to get their message viral trough alternative channels like so

Sadly its either these actions or tanks. And if the west would send tanks to Ukraine it'd be WW3. Its the lesser evil now sadly.

I think Apple hit here the sweet spot with the 13" and 16" sizes. My wife (a teacher) loves his 13" one, it's ideal for her to make video calls, write emails etc. For me as a developer at least 15" is a must, even t
