I've mostly worked for "engineering lead" corps and a PM has only ever affected outside software sold to users except for JIRA. There's no chance a PM would be able to affect the internal code storage/ci-cd systems

i'm traveling in an RV and can always (80% of the time) get up to 3MBps, max to 300. But with cellular it's mega spotty so pulling 3-10 5GB files then losing your connection for a few seconds/minutes completely kills that fil

I'd honestly prefer that. I'm usually on 5g if not 4g and pulling models is an absolute nightmare when I basically have to use HF and even with a token getting throttled. Although I have a pretty unique use case. Pulling wads of 5

cp2077 sits permanently at 60fps and looks great on my m1 max 64gb. I used to play it on my 4090, but once I figured out how to do redmods on macos I quit using it and play it on my mac to save power (I'm 100% solar powered and barely

I'd never go x86 again after owning an m1. I'd have replaced an x86 laptop 2 or 3 times by now (2020 m1). My last $3500 dell xps 13z before buying the m1 was absolutely horrible.

Paul has the same problem just about every tech obsessed engineer has (including myself), he thinks everyone else loves computers too. They don't. At all. I''m a self-taught ex-bartender and I can't tell you how many gro

Been raving about my $3500 2021 (maybe 2020) m1 max 64gb outlasting the Windows x86 laptops I'd probably have replaced 2 maybe 3 times by now, but it absolutely feels slower this year to the point I reinstalled macos for the first time

If you're looking for a modern take (spaceships) I'd highly recommend the little (but huge) indie game Star Sector. Huge modding community. Insanely easy to mod, even on macos. I have a bunch of scifi games that scratch the itch w

I was born mid 80s in Germany to Americans and had the internet and computers as a wee child, moved to America early 90s and felt like I was the only person in my not-California State with a PC until I was in high school in the 98-00s. I do

Webhosting is one of the most scammy shitty industries. I worked in it for 15 years. Do not give that industry any sort of benefit of the doubt. There are good companies but there are a lot of not.
