Yeah there are ways to bridge Javascript and Objective-C, like PhoneGap does, but it's not "automatic", you'd have to code each method by method etc ... blegh I hate this, this should be transparent! :P

God... I LOVE HTML5 and Javascript/CSS etc, I wrote a couple of PhoneGap based apps, and to be fair I think 70% of the apps in the apple app store (Not counting games) can be created using just HTML5, most are simple list/todo/map/location

like I said further down the thread, I don't hate "SQL" the language itself, I hate the time I have to spend writing queries, I see it as some kind of "extra layer of butter" between the website/app and me. I would like to automate it more

Here in Costa Rica it varies a lot between working for government or private companies, but a good salary for software development .NET, Java etc with experience is around USD $2500 per month, entry level or recently graduated around 1500-2
