The LLM only communicates with the shell so other users shouldn’t be able to leverage it. Maybe if the LLM reads a file that a lower privilege user has access to that’d be a route for injection into the context at least. There’s also a ‘co

ES6/7 doesn't have static type checking.

Just changing the file extension from js to ts will often bring out bugs in your code. The type inference will often catch things. Functions that are declared multiple types or that have duplicate parameters, and a lot of other stuff will b

A major benefit is the ability to quickly understand code you didn't write because you have the ability to 'go to definition' or 'find all references' which works across multiple files. On top of that once you under

Even if REST was a standard and no one ever argued about it, I still wouldn't use it. It is needless overhead designed by a PhD to solve problems I haven't encountered for 15 years. API traversal sounds nice, but who uses it? Has

No, and you wouldn't want the overhead. You can turn on warnings though if you want to make sure all your code is typed on compile. After compiling all type definitions are stripped and you're left with plain javascript.

Because REST is a superficial standard and people are starting to figure that out? APIs don't need to be complicated. Give me an endpoint to call and parameters to send. I don't need verbs, cool looking URLs, overloaded headers, s
