Lets assume all this is true, why should i be concerned about it? If the Chinese tax payer is going to help me buy a new car then thanks, my own government isn't going to do that.

I'm shocked it only took five years and only cost 4 month's worth of bomalian budget. Great job whoever was in charge.

I've encountered far too many people who actively seek out ads or look forward to them, people I usually respect, its baffling.

Impossible, we must interpret the intentions of some blokes who died 220 years ago and try to assume what they would have wanted. Its the only way.

Listen throw7, Meta paid almost £30 million in tax in 2023, an effective tax rate of 12%. I'm unsure why numbers for 2024 aren't available but you'll need to speak to legal about that. If you want to throw7 that all away over

Find me an FTP server which integrates with your entire productivity, communication and collaboration suites easily enough that an admin can run a 50k person company off of it and equally Doris from accounts can manage to get some work done

Surely the burden of proof lies on the more unbelievable side? Show me how a company setting never before seen piles of money on fire is profitable. Until someone can i'll happily keep claiming they're unprofitable.

"Everything" might be hyperbole but a huge percentage of the workforce in my country is office/desk based. Included in that % is a lot of the middleclass and stepping stone jobs to get out of manual work. If AI kills the midd

Where are you getting 850TB of enterprise storage for $20k? I had 500TB of object storage priced last year and it came out closer to $300k

It really depends how you use it. Put your 401k in to a global index and come back in 45 years? Yeah that's a false equivalence. Take out a bank loan and roll 0DTE options? That's 99% the same as sports gambling for me.
