Gee, waiting until Windows 8 releases before filing a lawsuit rather than before hand when the damage to your "company" could have been avoided. I wonder why that is... Seriously though, even disregarding any previous prior art, Microsoft a

It's hard to say what happened since we haven't heard Forstall's side of the story but maybe then Cook or the board saw the tension between Ive and Forstall camps, and recognized that losing Ive to another company would be devastating. So t

I have no doubt in my mind that Apple itself leaked this info to WSJ. What is surprising is how willing they were to throw him under the bus. Would be interesting to find out what was behind all this. Maybe to pre-empt anything Forstall cou

Are there still ridiculously high fees associated with selling a product on eBay? I have something that due to the niche of the product, makes it very hard to sell to anywhere BUT eBay. There are a lot of attempted alternatives in this nich

It is very difficult since most of the constituency believes the same thing he does. I'm guessing you don't live in the US, because there are a lot of people who believe this is true, and it's a constant struggle for people to have to deal

If you can program you can get a job. I think in your case you probably need to show you can do something by putting it up on the web or Github. PhDs from certain universities will probably get an automatic job offer regardless. The questio

I think the scene is more akin to someone hanging the victim upside down and shaking him until all his money falls out. Then before he leaves he takes the victim's asthma inhaler and then kicks the victim's dog for good measure. SEE YOU AT

Whoever designed this didn't test to see what happens when you click on third row. You can't click most of the windows on the third row because the only spot where you can close them (top right corner) is being covered.

I would say just as in most ads these are half-truths. I think this article[0] hits the nail on the head in that Motorola/Google are promoting the fact that something that is pretty much gibberish such as "315 e 15th ny" can be translated i

1) Assuming this data is close to actual numbers, seems like saying "Investments are near the levels from 2010 (which by the way was 1.4 billion), BUBBLE!" is a bit premature. 2) Maybe it's just me but the grammar seems off. The, "end of th

I don't really want to argue with you over the word, "open" since that seems like where this discussion is heading. Who cares about that point? Fine, OHA is a bad name. That still doesn't absolve Acer of joining and agreeing to abide by the

First, can we stop with the FUD about Google "banning" Acer from releasing a phone. This ArsTech article covers most of it but basically Alibaba was planning to release an OS that could run Android apps but was not certified by the OHA. And
