Interesting. It doesn't use any framework like for web. Running on a raw Hunchentoot. Uses Parenscript to generate JS.

There is already a good PDF version of the Common Lisp Standard Draft. You can download it here: http://cvberry.com/tech_writings/notes/common_lisp_standard_...

I'd recomment a ClozureCL instead of SBCL for a newcomer, because CCL does not do some optimizations and it is easier to debug. For example, it will show you local variables created by `let`, but SBCL – does not.

Great article with a very thoughtful description of choice of the Clojure over other languages.

I've used vim about 10 years and switched to Emacs, when decided to dive into a Common Lisp seriously. Because it has much better integration (thanks to the Slime and Swank).

And there is Emacs implemented in Common Lisp. There are so many things,made just "because we can"!

They are doing not exactly what I want. I want to know which changes actually were introduced in version A.B.C.

I only tested dotfiler under OSX and Ubuntu. Feel free to give it a chance with Cygwin.

We wrote this project during last DjangoDash. I'm wondering if somebody is interested in a service to track changelogs of various libraries?

Features description sounds too marketing and too bullshit. 1) Where are real usage examples? 2) Where is even one use-case? 3) What can be built on top of it?

By the way, I created a nice helper to track how forks are going on the GitHub, using RSS feed reader: https://github.com/svetlyak40wt/forkfeed

Why not to write it in a much simplier way? Like this: function bar(n) { // still has dependency on q, r, s } foo(..., bar);
