The Senate can impeach federal judges for high crimes and misdemeanors. That power has been exercised extraordinarily rarely. I can think of only one case in my lifetime, where a judge from Mississippi was removed in the 90s IIRC. I think C

I'm glad AMD is competitive again. Yes, Intel just surpassed them, but at twice the price. Plus, I suspect that competition pushes Intel into releasing better chips quicker. I'm not really part of the "prosumer" market (

My recollection is that the first instances where I saw the term "politically correct" widely used, it was unironic and self-applied, in singles ads. This was in Seattle in the late 80s.

Good move by Wordpress. The more Facebook says it's open source, there's no risk, it's just to stop bad litigation, the more urgent these decisions become.

It's all about tolerance and acceptance until it isn't. I understand why people are mad at the guy, but the black-and-white worldviews are on both sides of the polarized divide. Conflating his actions with rape is disingenuous a

Yes, Ikea is far more annoyingly maze-like than Walmart or similar stores. In fact, it's so bad that I'll never hike through another Ikea again.
