I mean, of course. There's a reason why an h100 costs around $30k, if you even have a chance to buy it. For whom it may concern, some recent article about progress of the Linux xdna driver: https://www.phoronix.com/news

I prefer not to have a dedicated GPU in my everyday laptop. I'd find it cool if AMD took their Linux userbase more seriously (there are dozens of us!!1) and actually provided drivers to use the hardware they sell.

Still waiting for the Zen4 xdna NPU to be supported under Linux. Crossing my fingers that it'll actually be in 6.10 stable release. I'm generally happy with the 7840HS, but didn't previously consider that large sections of th

Bidets are like acid: people who try it once have to tell everyone to try it too. Personally, I find the fixation on how I'm supposed to clean my ass a bit weird.

You know when they kill a mouse in the lab they call it a 'sarcrifice'. There's some harrowing stuff and I personally would probably not be able to do it. I think most ppl who do it just happened to find themselves in a part

In fact I wrote my own RyanAir scraper to get the best prices on flights (it is trivial to implement, they barely have any rate limits - in particular if you use the API endpoint where you search for flights departing from a specific airpor

It appears like the other people in the audience knew why they were there. Perhaps the person who suggested it to the OP figured they could benefit from it, but didn't want to tell them to seek out a therapist.

I think deadlines are probably also a big factor. Many OSS developers build their projects in their free time for themselves and others. So it could be a passion project where someone takes more pride in their work. I'm a big advocate

Not sure if you're unaware or don't care, but sea salt contains microplastics. You can get untreated alpine salt (Alpensalz) pretty cheap (presuming you live in or around Germany)

I find this topic of fermented foods in different cultures pretty interesting. Surely they enabled people to survive a rough winter with food shortages. From an evolutionary perspective, it could be said that those peoples who didn't l

What's so difficult about checking in with the app? I found the situation pretty painless and you can go straight to security that way, if you don't have to check in any luggage.
