The pro-base was very split, not just dealers & growers but much of the mmj community.

this is disappointing. we were looking forward to starting to use chargify because of the free tier. Now I would be reluctant to even sign up until I was sure I had at least a few paying customers. I don't remember exactly but the free t

This is awesome. We use diigo right now for tagging pages and sharing them but it is pretty weak. The ability to login & keep a history of your markups to share with others in your group would be tops.

I only ever buy a single gram, but can't put that in. Also what if vendors start putting prices they pay growers, and dispensaries enter prices from vendors, and customers use prices from dispensaries... The same batch of herb will be many

So then similarly if I wanted to see all the events that I was invited to would I have to loop through all users, all their events, and all of their invitees to see if I was one?

I like the idea of Mongo and have read about it but my relational mind can not be unwrapped. Maybe I am trying to complicate things too much. In that example if you have multiple people attending one event and you want to update the event

We were willing to learn new tech if it was going to provide benefits, ultimately stuck with what we know for quick dev cycle. http://www.leaf.ly/ asp.net mvc windows & sql azure hosting (free for 8 months with BizSpark)

You are right, the colors represent whether the strain is hybrid, indica, or sativa. Initially we played with coming up with some sort of hash based on the effects that would generate an rgb value, then similar strains would be a similar c

That is interesting. Could be because there is only one review and that guy is some sort of super human. But really it illustrates the usefulness of the site over other sites that post a single persons perspective on a strain.

The names you get from dispensaries should always be correct. If buying from a dealer on the street you may or may not be getting what they tell you (most likely not). The seed banks that originally create the strains will sometimes go as

Signup is definitely nice but our main goal is to get as much data as is possible right now, so make it as easy as possible to submit ratings. You can't post a site on HN if it doesn't have an api!

Agreed, nothing worse than a review site that has no activity. That is one of the reasons we made the barrier of entry so low, no account required to review, etc.
