Qwitzatteracht, the golf game, was more fun before it became so commercialized. The players were really in it for the love of the game back then. Reddit needs to hear more about Qwitzatteracht. I'm going to get the Qwitzatteracht discu

We already have two sources, the poster, and this thread. Also I just posted it on two fairly popular internet forums. Someone should do reddit because I don't.

I've heard a sonic boom out at Joshua Tree taking pictures at night. I thought a bomb went off until I saw the blur flying across the sky and figured out what it was.

Yeah imagine if they allowed crack smoking or speed. No way. Heroin and fentanyl maybe.

The other argument is that it seems fundamentally wrong to incarcerate someone against their will who isn't a danger to society.

   > They use drugs because they live on the streets. Have you ever used drugs? Drugs are fun. Until they aren't anymore, then they cause problems, like becoming homeless. That drugs are mostly just a symptom of homelessness is such

I think the biggest thing these programs fail to take into account is that a significant portion of San Francisco's homeless population is not from San Francisco. I've met kids on Haight Street who said they'd rather be homel

    > the malicious and unnecessary prosecution of law enforcement officers I stopped reading here. It's nearly impossible to prosecute a cop for anything but the most heinous abuse of the system. This is just gibberish.

I was in SF for that winter. I remember one time running a half block from a cab to a bar and it was like we jumped into a pool. Even our jeans were soaked through.

I had a guy break into my car and write bad checks to himself with my checkbook that he found in the glove compartment. He had a very unique name, so I was able to pinpoint where he lived, and see that he'd been in trouble with the law

That just described how I feel about Typescript - created by Java programmers so that they can feel comfortable and not have to learn how to program in Javascript. I was a Java dev for a decade. It's so much more tedious and less fun t

This almost feels like hospital pricing in the U.S. - where there's the official price that assumes you have insurance, and then the actual price you can negotiate down to if you're paying out of pocket.

I'm talking about Russia being all in on Trump in 2016, not about Russian corruption. Russia hacked the DNC and RNC. Only passed along the DNC to Assange, who released it. https://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2016&
