I'm sorry. I have mistaken the URL of the implementation in Dart which was compared to those in Go: < [1] http://www.oki-osk.jp/esc/dart/lisp/lisp-27-03-31.tar.bz2 --- > [1] http:/&

Here is a Lisp interpreter written in Go. It has macros, backquotations, tail-call optimization, concurrency primitives (future/force) and fairly traditional synax; you can just use it if you know (Emacs|Common) Lisp. http:/

This is a Lisp interpreter with macros, backquotation and tail-call optimization. It is written in 1,200 lines of a script in Dart 1.9. $ curl -R -O http://www.oki-osk.jp/esc/dart/lisp/lisp-27-04-20.tar.bz

Yes indeed. Swift lacks the "yield return" statement of C#. Yet you can do well with "SequenceOf" and "GeneratorOf". // Fibonacci sequence let fib = SequenceOf { () -> GeneratorOf<Int> i

The 'LINQ for Go' passes around slices as sequences. It differs in both space and time complexities from the 'LINQ to Objects' in C#. A rather proper LINQ implementation in Go is http://www.oki-osk.jp/es

I totally agree. The transparency of 2.x & Go wins. Python 3.x is a disaster for me, a Unix user in Japan.

Example: package main import ( "fmt"; . "linq" ) var Fibonacci Enumerate = func(yield Operate) error { a := 0; b := 1; for { err := yield(a); if err != nil { return err }; a, b = b, a+b } } func main() { twentyFibs := Fi

"Well, apparently back in the 80’s you could jump between procedures in Pascal using goto statements, some primitive try/catch mechanism." You can jump between procedures in GNU Pascal. http://www.gnu-pascal.de

I suggest Lazarus to you. It is a successor of Delphi in a sense. It is rather active. http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org
