Has anybody tried to retrofit a transflector into a laptop LCD screen? I've got no idea if this is even possible but I'd love to be able to just trigger a brightness=0 and see a smartwatch-type display that doesn't strain my

I buy my friends' old phones after they upgrade. Usually by that point CyanogenMod is supported for the model, and I get regular upgrades for less than $100 each.

OpenSCAD has been all I've ever needed for 3D printing. It's really intuitive for programmers so I haven't bothered learning anything else.

Add a captcha per post/retweet. This would trash all the engagement metrics, but I feel like making bots do more work and making humans think twice about their actions on the site would make the platform better overall.

Learning the bowline, trucker's hitch, and double half-hitches will get you the most value for your time in my opinion. They're all I've ever needed for moving or camping.
