Students are being kicked out of their dorms and are upset/rioting due to this sudden eviction. Why on earth would your immediate suspicion be to accuse students of rioting because of missed potential parties?

SWSX was already refusing to cancel despite everyone pressuring them to. It was irresponsible of them to try and keep the event. It was only a city mandate that finally forced their hand. They’re already clearly profit driven. This type of

I'd take that chance any day for a much more comfortable flight. Very rarely do you even have the chance to escape when something is wrong with your plane while it's in the air.

Classic case of ‘find a big project to justify our headcount and get promos for our eng/prod.’ At least they have the money to burn on this Sisyphean goal of theirs.

I don’t think that’s true anymore. My recent training a few months ago covered the rescue breathing portion. But we were told to just do the chest compressions if we were concerned about disease transmission and or didn’t have a breathing m

You never want to be the second (or the third) surname when naming equations, companies, and I guess, cow breeds. Just look at Black-Scholes, PwC, among countless others.

Gross, is this actually a technique taught in management? Seems disingenuous and sounds like something a really bad manager would do.

Looks like it’s more of a PR duck your head for a while until things cool down vs. external pressure and internal acceptance of bad behavior that led to them stepping down.

You literally stated "most people have gotten off of FB." Your citation shows it shrinking by < 10% for gen z and millennials, stagnating for gen x, and increasing for boomers. It's similar in my circle of friends but you

Sounds like you’re being a facetious but there are plenty of companies that do pay you if you do end up getting paged. Not for being scheduled on call. Plenty of companies also do 12 hour shifts during the day if you’re on call and have SRE
