Great CG playing against good cg (not all characters/env are created equal) makes the great CG stand out as realistic. Great CG playing against real life makes the great CG look off and less realistic. I think your example is a matter

Google can easily tell how much time you spend on a page, or when you click links, and if they wanted, even how your mouse moves. If the idea is to hide this information from Google itself, it seems pointless, just don't use Google.

I had a much less pleasant experience, when an ATM ate my check. Basically they would send a tech out in 3-6 hours, and retrieve the check, and give it to me. Luckily I lived down the street so that wasn't that big of an inconvenience,
