Founder of Argonaut (yc backed as well) here. That's the model we use at argonaut.dev. We charge a flat fee per developer and you pay the AWS bills to AWS or GCP (using credits ideally). We settled on this because it is transparent and

Yes, we are a YC S21 company and are on the awesome PaaS list you've compiled. We have been focusing on building in stealth so far and are planning some public launches over the next few weeks. We are already more mature and feature ri

I put this together for sending out emails from quick personalized notes. It works with gpt-4 (and not 3.5 because 3.5 doesn't always listen to prompts well). Here's how to use it - https://www.loom.com/share/

If you want to base this on AWS/GCP and are building for scale, I'm building argonaut.dev which is a k8s PaaS among other things. Happy to help.

Great job on this! There are a few solutions that exist already, with a similar objective. Okteto and Portainer are OSS comparables. There are a few closed source ones as well. This space is still fairly nascent though and it's always

They build everything from scratch - on bare metal, including sourcing hardware (though I'd presume they use a data center manager for it). Arch, from their engineering blogs, is pretty sound.

Fly is building everything in hard mode - since they are not layering on top of an existing cloud like pretty much everyone else (heroku, render, railway, ...). It's either very smart (if they pull it off) because they will have a gino
