Remember (?!....) is a lookaround , so it matches 0 characters. So ^(?!....)$ will only match an empty string! (Think about it). Try ^(?!....$) instead (the $ anchor inside the lookaround)

I'd love to explain it but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. Some kind of law saying that the BBC can't make profit from us in the UK, because they are funded instead by the TV licence fee[0]: we pay the government

I've seen this in some countries in mainland Europe. Problem was it asked me on my regular UK debit card, had no idea what to choose, trial and error until one of them didn't spit my card out... Thanks for enlightening me
