Are you gonna unlock that phone anytime soon? Thanks for opening the enclave, don't mind if I ship these keys back home. No notification needed, Apple has root access.

I realized that I'm very good at remembering time and location more than anything. If I want to look at something, I know when I did it more than what it contained. For this purpose the photos app is amazing: "April 2020 cat video

I don't understand this comment. How is it different from hooks and JSX components? In React codebases theres a lot of logic in React-specific files. I don’t even think it would be possible to "move to a new framework" with

Law doesn't reward politeness. If you have a problem sue them, don't trespass. Governments should figure out a way to allow regular people to sue giants without going bankrupt.

The advantage of OKLCH is not that it produces better colors, it's that you can vary a color reliably. They sold HSL to us as a way to vary the hue easily in a way that's not possible with #000000 without manually computing it f

I know my EU country also had it, but you could opt out due to privacy. I loved looking up number owners as a teen. I don't know why. It was right there on the monopoly telco's website.

Yes but they can also very well say "sorry, we're not tech support, bye" and stand there looking at you. This is exceptionally easy to do if there are 5 people a day coming in for that reason.

I love how people compare places to Bali and Cancun and then lack everything that people like about those places. Having a beach is not enough. You can find beaches everywhere. Bali beaches aren't even that good.

FWIW WhatsApp has this builtin, at least at the device level. If you change a device, the other person is notified. If they steal it, unlock it, clone the user's voice before the phone is marked as lost, then yeah still bypassable (but
