Most games will function identically to a new copy if both purchased at the same time. Only recently have publishers started introducing schemes where you get a first purchase unlock code/card.

I think it's actually just been doubled to 2048x2048. OpenGL ES 2.0 seems to define a 64x64 as the minimum requirement for texture size to meet the spec, which is really not much at all.

Doesn't erlang effectively do this, allowing its processes to only execute a certain amount of vm instructions before allowing a switch to another process?

You have to force chrome frame to be the default renderer as well, being chrome frame by default will only be used when a website requests it.
