Bingo. Just because you download an nft doesn't mean you own it. Proof of ownership is achieved by signing a challenge with the wallet linked with the nft (as encoded on the Blockchain).

If Nvidia provided an nft for every graphics card they sold, and every online marketplace like ebay required that you provide that nft to resell the card, then that truck of stolen graphics cards becomes much harder to move.

The big win from this is that you should be able to determine if signed in user (wallet) owns a particular NFT. This would allow for things like transferable software licenses, titles, and deeds.

I use a tenkeyless on my desktop for exactly this reason. I could always shift a normal keyboard over to center it, but then my mouse is way off to the side.

I'd argue that programming is relatively easy if you know what needs to be built. If you don't know what needs built or are unable to see the downstream effects of an implementation detail then you're in for a ride.
