For the record, I’ve never touched the native calculator. I’ve been using an RPN tool called CALX. It’s great. I’d more than happily pay to use it, but it’s free!

Yes. However, it does require custom hardware. We've prototyped a small hardware platform to allow others to contribute to the live feed. However, this remains at prototype stage - we've been running self funded since inception.

There are other similar projects, however the advantage of the Light is that it can exist as a client AND stand-alone server, controlling other lights - including other 'Internet-of-Things'
