Well I for one would find a vehicle travelling at 40km/h in a 60 zone incredibly annoying, even if they're legally allowed to travel that slow.

With [the absolutely fantastic] Paywave / Paypass now just about completely ubiquitous here in Australia, and supported by a good few smart phones to boot, why on earth would we want Apple Pay? They've truly missed the boat here.

Not going to share my details on github, but I registered as a bone marrow donor here in Australia a few years back. Yet to hear anything of it, however if there's ever a match I will be very happy to potentially save someone's li

Thanks, huge improvement! Was using Chrome in Windows 7, on a rather old Dell monitor at work. After working on WCAG 2.0 compliance on my own sites I have ironically gotten more sensitive to poor contrast ratios everywhere.

If anyone else finds the poor contrast / thin fonts hard to read, ctrl+a to select all text is as always a neat trick.

Nice; that's the way my original X1 Carbon looks and I'm really happy with that keyboard. In particular, I absolutely love the nipple and the proper mouse buttons. Is there any chance of the linked keyboard actually making it ba

Thanks, this actually looks really good! I've tried a few of the others but never found any to my liking. Appreciate that, cheers.

Thanks, that actually looks really good. No-fuss copy and paste, auto resizing windows, transparency, etc. All they needed to do was clone how terminals such as Ubuntu's does it ... and it looks like that's what they did. :) I&#x

Very interesting. Not sure if I could live with the input lag myself, however. I've been a full time developer since 1998 or thereabouts, but have been coding since I was a child. Early on when I started working full time I found mysel

I have a Pebble Steel too, silver one, and if you've gotten used to the battery life of that, I have a feeling after reading Ars Technica's review that you'd find the Moto 360 less to your liking. I absolutely love the always

Yeah, I had a Contour Roam 2 which I absolutely loved; the rotatable lens with laser alignment, super easy flick-start recording, slimline helmet mount were all awesome features. The Roam featured inset grooves on either side through which

I got a silver Pebble Steel about a month ago and I'm completely in love with it. Small, discrete, smart and elegantly designed, it gives me notifications without ever becoming too much. So yes, functionality is limited, but more to th

Slightly off topic regarding the phone, however still related to Amazon: As an e-reader enthusiast, I was scanning the news this morning hoping there'd be a new Kindle e-ink / e-paper reader announced. Alas, there's no news o

Yep. At my home office I have 3x Dell U2412Ms (1920x1200 i.e. 16:10) on an Ergotech stand and I'm absolutely loving this physical setup for programming. The side monitors float over my desk (an Ikea Galant, corner version), and having

For me, ST is my primary work tool. What I paid for it is completely insignificant compared to what I earn. Speaking as someone who used Textpad from 1995 until when I discovered SublimeText last year, I love the functionality and keyboard
