Used to be part of the Win 95 beta and such. It was greatly exciting back then. Now I'm in no rush to install Win11 whatsover, even though my main PC that I built last year actually has the Asus TPM module (added later) as I needed Bit

The 970 Evo Minus sounds a lot more to the point. I have 2tb version bought last year, works great - but will opt for 980 Pro instead should I need more now. (Have a 1tb version of that too, when it first came out. Works well but honestly t

Have been happy with their Aorus GPU, a 1080TI Xtreme, however their software suite turned into a pile of shit. I will not buy another Gigabyte / Aorus card for that reason.

Jesus, yep. Big "Brother", always watching. What lives can we destroy today? Privacy is being hit hard now, on multiple fronts - it's very sad, scary.

Do what we do in Vic, Australia: Add usage tax for EVs, with only a narrow timed limited vehicle discount for standard range EVs. And not a single ICEV co² tax in sight. That'll help (the oil companies).

The privacy implications are fucking horrible. As an Android user I'd love to gloat, after all Apple have really had the upper edge on privacy so far, and their users have not been shy about telling us. Again and again. However any ple

There's an underground Australian Northern Territory campaign which was rather amusing: CU in the [state initials]. (Absolutely no worse than the FCUK clothing label, which I just find annoyingly lame - at least it was funny.)

I'll grant that the battery life isn't terrific on the Carbon. Also the M1 CPU was a masterstroke of engineering by Apple. (Having said that my new Nano is working a lot better than the previous Gen6 - seeing 7 hours remaining on
