@Dang, really strange to see the dead comments (sibling to this, and elsewhere) as they are 100% relevant and straight from the source. If I missed something then apologies.

It feels a bit surreal, small world and all that - so cheers! Many thanks again for your efforts, and pioneering work. Even my (younger) brother remembered Starglider well; he's also gone on to do well for himself with a leading role i

This is awesome on so many levels. The bottom part of the read me says Jez San of Argonaut agreed to MIT the BRender part of it. Argonaut rang a bell, and sure enough - Jez developed Starglider, one of my all time favourite games on the A

Australia: The ~2008 1.8T Polo GTI was quite the little ripper. Three door, manual, you could get an APR ECU tune that unlocked the engine's true potential - identical with and detuned from an Audi A3. So much fun in a small package, I

Absolutely. You can work with what you got, and stop blaming the world for what you weren't given (e.g. a face with no deformities, for me; I'm happy the picture with resume is not a done thing in Australia). Telling people to HTF

One of the things I was most impressed by was how he managed to aim for some camera worthy bushes to land in when there were SO many better options for safety. I wasted an inordinate amount of time analysing the whole thing myself, includin

Yep, that's my understanding as well. So, the wise thing to do is likely to shut up - or at least be very, very careful about certain topics. There almost ought to be training in schools on responsible use of the Internet, where topics

What if you book a flight say between Australia and Europe. After swapping planes in Hong Kong, on the way to Germany there's an in flight emergency and the plane lands in Dubai. And you had been previously critical of the regime. Now

Yep! I have an older Steinberg UR22; quality is awesome. Mine doesn't have mute buttons, but with my Streamdeck I can mute/unmute the input sources very easily.

I did interact with Naggum in a limited fashion back in the mid/late 90s when I briefly worked as a writer. I can't recall the specifics, but he was deeply involved in a number of heated discussions on the no.general Usenet group.

That sounds about right. :) I have two very smart cats myself. 16 years old now though, so mostly sleeping. One of them loves snuggling up in my armpit in my office bed, and will get really upset when I don't come at his calling. Burme

Yeah, a complete no brainer for me to get myself and my family vaccinated. Of course I can't A-B test my own ability to cope with Covid with zero vaccinations and triple boosted, so the points of the person who replied to me strike me

Well over a decade in my case. The new chat is an exercise in frustration. My favourite bug (on Android) is when you paste a URL, hit enter to send, then start typing your message related to the URL. Because it wants to process the URL, loo

Thanks, that's a great point. It made me think we could probably do this programmatically - perhaps as part of a script to carry out the full scan? Add the folders of interest, scan, then remove when completed. https://docs.
