If you know even basic english, TOEFL is not really difficult. If you are unable to get a decent score in TOEFL, it is very likely that you would not understand anything that is thought in a lecture that is administered in English.

Go to your Google account's security settings and see which apps have access. Revoke access from any app that is not needed or has the display name "Google Docs".

@richardlong: I'm not even talking about expedited GCs. Even the normal GC process is horribly broken for people who are born in India. Look up "Green Card backlog India" related searches. Currently it would anywhere from 15

I feel that there are some core issues that can fix the problem: 1) Solve the Green-Card backlog issue that forces people in the backlog to stick with their current jobs. This is a major thing, that is not talked about more often. 2) Simple

If the defendant consented, couldn't they just log into their own account and get the audio? In the app, you can hear back all the queries you made to Alexa.

Edited. I meant creating profiles with tweeting privileges will cost money. I think sometimes we need to rethink what growth and engagement means. In my model, Twitter does not rely on advertising. Famous people might still be interested, b

Turn the entire business model 180 degrees. This might be very radical, but hear me out. 1) Creating a twitter profile (with tweeting privileges) costs $5. Profiles without tweeting privileges are free. 2) Once you have 10000 followers, you

Genuine question. Why did the GitLab outage prevent this person from working? Couldn't you just keep on working as usual and then rebase with origin once the service is back up? Decentralization is the best feature of Git.

But, in that case, how would it be different from just drawing on my Surface with my surface pen? It's kinda exactly what you need.

I think it is very important to set expectations about this with peers and friends. Texts and emails are asynchronous communications, but too often people forget that fact. I generally don't let texts break my workflow. People get piss

Doesn't Async/Await help dealing with nested callbacks and simplify exception handling? I wouldn't push everyone to use it. But it is really useful in a lot of places. I cannot imaging writing Xamarin apps and distributed clo

Maybe you won't learn a lot from MythBusters, but it went a long way to imbibe a maker spirit in you. That I think is crucial to becoming a better engineer.

Thanks for clarifying. Do you have some more info about this. Some page where these ranges are listed? I'm curious to understand how these numbers are derived as they seem slightly off to me.

Same here. Watched this show with my dad (who is an Engineer). Ended up becoming an Engineer myself. I credit this show and MythBusters for pushing me into Science and Tech.

I would gladly pay around $10 a year, maybe even $15. My Pebble has been worth it. However, I am now going to return it because if the next Android update breaks the app, it will become a paper weight.

I really used to love Udacity, but at some point their constant mini-quizzes just drove me nuts. Totally broke my flow. I prefer the Pluralsight approach. Quickly going through some Pluralsight courses has really broadened my toolset. I pre
