Same with other self-help authors, isn‘t it? Take Brian Tracy (not saying he is a charlatan!). Superficially repeating same ideas over and over again, publishing half a dozen books a year with the same ideas.

Love the new mission statement: `Firefox is tech that fights for your online privacy.` Apple has demonstrated that privacy is a very effective value proposition. Maybe Apple should look into investing in Mozilla/Firefox.

Love Firefox. The philosophy, its snappiness, its many add-ons, the UI. - Glad to have an alternative to Chrome! Keep up the good work, Mozilla & Firefox team.

How about `~/workspace`? With tab and autocomplete it‘s not hard to type. But I must admit that `~/code` seems a good alternative to me.

I haven't seen many non-tech people who manage their files in a systematic way. Most non-tech people don't have a naming convention for their files (seen many files named "letter.doc" or "shmith.doc" or "s

The problem with digital handwritten notes is: They are more problematic than all the proprietary databases and file formats that we have. Personally I started using the iPadPro with the Apple pencil last christmas. Generated tons of notes

Excellent! Only a few days ago I started using SublimeText for writing (markdown) and managing my folder- and file-based personal wiki. This plugin will propably be very useful.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Very helpful tips. Regarding timestamps: I have a Python script triggered by Alfred App on my Mac. The script creates markdown files based on a template. The template has a header section with helpful infos l

Since you keep your notes in files, what naming convention do you apply? I am in the process of moving away from proprietary note taking tools like AskSam (more than 15 years ago on a Windows machine), Evernote, Bear Writer and some more).

So happy to see that Python‘s popularity is still rising, and there seem to be no slow down of the momentum. I got in touch with Python in the 90s but back then it did not convince me. Later in the 90s Perl was much more attraktive (because
