Sorry for this blatant self-promotion. If you're looking for managed Kubernetes I'm building https://symbiosis.host which is a service built on top of Hetzner, with support for terraform, load balancers, storage, etc.

Thanks! The worker nodes don't need quorum, they are merely VMs that are running a daemon capable of scheduling k8s workloads onto it. The control planes can be configured for high availability (HA), resulting in 3 control planes.

Our status page/status monitoring service is running on Contabo since we want it off-site. We have an API gateway running on DigitalOcean that we're currently moving away from. Our servers (in our one and only current region) are

We used that particular comparison of 24 cpus/48GB partly because it was a benchmark used by another competitor and partly because we felt it was in line with expected usage for a small/medium size business. We're hosting wit

There's an alternative path where cloud companies actually start to compete on price. Right now you will pay gigantic premiums on your AWS infrastructure just by virtue of being in their ecosystem. Personally, I see Kubernetes having h

There are plenty of cloud providers that offer cheap and feature-rich services if you look away from the hyperscalers, disclaimer: I'm part of a team building one. However most users aren't swayed by only price so it's a toug

I don't believe the general user gets much benefit from using a general purpose "everything cloud". The mere scale of building and maintaining such a cloud lead to both these bills but also makes them so much more complicated

We used Framer Motion to animate parts of our landing page but eventually turned against it since the package increased our JS bundle size by ~25kb. We managed to completely replace it with CSS and Observer API instead, YMMV.
