Here is one really important part that I almost missed when reading this announcement: > Using Cloudflare's gateway, you can also build a website that’s hosted entirely on IPFS, but still available to your users at a custom domain n

In June, I too had an auto-update from Beyond Compare failing due to Malwarebytes and it made me think their servers were compromised. Nope, false positive. It looks like this happens often enough, there is a whole page dedicated to false p

There is some precedent for a new language that gradually improves safety of an existing language; TypeScript did this to JavaScript and is arguably successful. I don’t know if Checked C will have the same success story but if devs can easi

As someone who has lived in both So Cal and the Midwest, I can confirm this. In So Cal, I didn't have A/C for 10+ years and rarely used the heater (a desktop computer can double as a heater haha). In the midwest, the A/C or h

I haven’t seen any tools that measure this. I have seen one or two tools measure the time an issue stays open which is not a good metric since some GitHub issues are bugs, others are proposals that take more time to discuss.
