How so? What breaking changes have you hit? It has the same guarantee and takes it extremely seriously. The only code I know of that compiled on a stable post-1.0 compiler but broke was because of bugs, even those cases are rare.

As it mentions in the article, it allows people who have the wealth and love private jet travel enough to have the option to prioritize it and pay the extra taxes. The proposed tax is about a 9x jump. It's a lot but the excise tax on

I'm noticing you are mixing up "legal" and "moral" a lot in this thread. They are separate concepts. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it is morally right. Morals are something that someone can ch

I love how much things have progressed. I remember I used to have to set up a clean build to run while I was at school so it could be done when I got back. Now it is done within seconds.

It's posts like this that make me think of Roosevelt's Man in the Arena speech. It's easy for folks on the sidelines to criticize and say "what's so hard?" It's for the best who the folks rolling up their

It's hard to not let cynicism like this get to me especially when the argument makes so little sense. This doesn't sell? Isn't sensationalist enough? A possible end result of this is magic flying space trains. This isn&#x

I actually appreciate that caution. Things have been extremely up in the air and it would be very hard to properly explain what is happening, how it matters and if it matters. The last part I think is why it's a good thing that the

I often find people get very hung up on it because they don't have much else to talk about. The look and feel of the syntax is the least important part of a language but its also the easiest to complain about.
