I worked for a AAA game company in the game server department and I would say that with the schedule and how the shop was directed it was nearly impossible to do TDD. I can't speak for the engine side, but my guess is that it was not p

None of this is particularly new information. I mean he mentions that bill at the top but no real discussion about it's contents. John Oliver did a great piece on civil asset forfeiture a while back and the $10,000 rule has been around

He's right! You are not a failure! I'm 33 and I left a company I founded 3 years ago after 5 in the trenches. It was close to the big deal that was gonna make it all go sunshine and rainbows but I got fat, angry, and had started d

+1 for SE. Also there is an amazing set of Motown tracks split into instrumentals and acapellas out there. I'm not sure if it can be legally obtained easily, but it's a great master class.

I've found it docker support to be a bit cumbersome. But it's great that it's available!

Nope, that's what happened. Literally no substance, just an ad for a service to render and sell you a new living room.

Care to share what your setup looks like? Posture is something I think about a lot while computing. I've got a great sit/stand desk at my office now and I really only use stand if I'm having a funny numb leg or something. I&#

I'm not sure why I find this posture so offensive. The idea of walking into an office full of guys in this rig wearing AR goggles and 3 screens strikes me as a thing that I'd run screaming from. Maybe I'm just so old that I w
