the only issue really left is that volume mounts don't work with podman machine as of yet. The issue has been live on github for awhile, but its finally getting traction. Likely because of the recent Docker for Desktop changes. EDIT: g

One issue still apparently is that it can’t mount volumes. Though I haven’t had to do that yet. When you attempt to mount a volume it will attempt to do it from within the virtual machine not your machine.

Just need something like this for postgres and we would jump on it. Citus is close, but all the features that are important are behind their exceptionally tall paywall.

Part of the issues with Kubernetes is that it started as a Java project and then it became a Go project. If anyone started a large Go project with that mindset it would look messy no matter what you did.

I think most of these are settings that can be changed in the advanced settings menu. Zoom changed the defaults, but you can still change the settings to what you prefer them to be
