Woah, looks like this was made by Steven Lavelle ( http://www.increpare.com/ ) too, who has made a staggering number of bizarre and fascinating indie games over the years. My personal favorite is Mirror Stage, where you navig

That's a really good point — the lack of a common content interface is pretty tricky. I've really like http://www.silkapp.com/ for this sort of thing. I think their API ( http://developer.silkapp.com

This is a very nice resource — the use of Autoprefixer and the SUIT/Montage class names is welcome as well. I see a lot of impact in flexbox for progressively enhanced designs — designs that in their most basic form have simplified or

This is an example of one of many functional abstractions that jQuery (carefully) adds to Javascript. There are great functional examples in Eloquent Javascript, that show you how to go from low-level loops to high-level abstractions. That&

You're still mirroring the structure of HTML/XML in your json documents though, which is a pain for large templates. Still feels like you're writing Artisanal Hand-rolled JSON. My vote for this sort of thing has always gone to Plates: http

Eloquent Javascript is absolutely the right starting point, I'm glad there's been a shift from recommending The Good Parts to that one. It was linked here the other day, but Superhero JS is another great "what is the path to javascript mast

CS degrees are not a catch-all. Most teach data structures, algorithms, a little AI and database theory. Few teach how to structure programs. I'm pretty sick of the "I work with people without CS degrees" excuse. Good software design really

Seconded. If you're going to have any success in converting people who write Clojure code away from Emacs, you're going to need to copy its good parts. Nice redesign though.

To me, this is the smartest part of using Clojure in your projects. If you're a company with an enormous Java stack, it's trivial to add things like Clojure or Scala and use them as scripting languages. Or break out a library and rewrite it
