It feels like it was a relatively 'quiet' scuffle when it comes to Hn discussion. I hope this post gets discussed without being buried.

Almost all of my team has individual subscriptions to sharelatex because we felt it was better from a books perspective to show there is more individual interest in an open source solution than corporate interest. We specifically chose shar

And where is stated mraleph codebase to go from ascii to an image? I'd like a command line tool to convert locally, or this open sourced so I can host a local version.

No offense to System76, I'm very happy they are entering this space early. I just will wait for one of the biggies (e.g. dell, lenovo) so that I know the hardware could be supported. I'm really wanting to shake Intel if possible,

In lieu of the complexity for all other vpn implementations, we fall back on sshuttle consistently.

I've been wondering the same thing. It seems many lament for it to be in the kernel, when many other vpn systems are addon packages.

Omnibus makes a ton of assumptions about how many things you want bundled, as well as the monolithic configuration is daunting. I'd suggest breaking up into smaller containers for each service. No matter what container medium you choos

This may sound snarky but we've run the 7370 version of their lineup and chosen to abandon them for T460s at the time being. There are some pretty not cool things going on with the thunderbolt subsystem when it comes to displays and ne

why not systemd-nspawn (zoidberg voice) Seems like the way Fedora is packaging systemd for 24 is going to move systemd-nspawn to a level of maturity that will likely surpass some of the clunky issues folks have with running docker.

Is a great service, but I'd love to have something I can use locally. A _lot_ of my time diagramming is spent disconnected, transitioning over photos of whiteboards to actual diagrams. Are you aware of anything that is a local client?
