As a game programmer, I have to agree. Game engines exist. Non-bloated browsers do not. Simple as that. It all comes down to the ability to manage scope. You can take a lot of shortcuts and still come up with a cool, unique game engine. Bro

Sapphire is the safest bet. ASRock, MSI and Powercolor also tend to make good cards. And yeah, with the monster-sized high-end GPUs, you'll need to take some precautions no matter the brand.
