Here's a few very valid reasons imo - Easy cross platform support - Singular language/framework (typescript/react) for everything you're doing - Can share a lot of components/logic with mobile apps if you use React

This is a bummer, but when I heard the news last night it inspired me to add this functionality to the bot I've made for the server I'm in with friends. For anyone looking for a fun, quick project to do I recommend checkout out di

I can empathize with you and the OP. The only one I've got to stick is literally just a text file that I always have open in VIM. I have a keybinding to open up the terminal window so it's always right there. I have a couple of ma

Great comment, thank you! Feels like cooking is a skill a lot like programming where you can be stuck in tutorial hell without ever actually learning anything. I'd like to get out of that and your about just trying things out and seein

I've been using my instant pot and your meal sounds great but I am unfortunately hopeless at cooking. Can you let me know what you do with those ingredients? Do you dice the potatoes/peppers? Do you have to cook the beans/qui

Predictable movies are always predictable, but knowing the categories and Save the Cat structure is fun because then you can see when truly talented people subvert it and twist those "rules".

It seems like most of this is services going "read-only", I would imagine Red for PRs would be that you can't access or read them whatsoever This is different from commits, which probably should be Red.

No, I think like someone above said this thread was added to something called a "second chance pool" on HN, which means it gets reposted to the frontpage after X amount of time for a second time, and it rewrites the timestamps. So

I don't think most self-described film buffs who are keeping track and logging 50+ movies they watch a year would disagree with you. There's a lot more to film than just the canonical big-budget American hollywood productions
