Richard Branson’s last 3 investments ($25, $20 & $10 million) have all been secured against the company’s assets. I don’t see anyone paying $55 million for it as a going concern so it looks like he’ll inherit it. Will be interesting to

The insane part is that those police officers and neighbours likely grew up in a community where they were able to have the freedom to go outside unsupervised. They all survived to adulthood and are now trying to snatch away those freedoms

Right but there is no suggestion the firebombing was linked to any government or regulatory policy/action/initiative. It's simply that he upset organised crime groups. These exist everywhere in the world and theres no suggest

Sure but dozens of other companies can (and do) make cheaper robots optimised for grabbing an item and throwing it in a box. Boston Dynamics specialises in complex generalist robotics and humanoids not automating logistics.

Because you don't need a bipedal robot that can jump and throw for that. You just need an arm and a standardised storage system that the arm can reach into.

If you check again now this is a out of the box feature on Google Assistant. You just say “good morning” and it tells you the time, weather, news, and more.

I fail to see how AI can really assist with this. Whatever model the AI is fed is going to contain an enormous number of assumptions many of which we have a very limited ability to scientifically test and validate prior to using them as inp

A big move for sure. The LA demographics are much less tech heavy than other cities. Hopefully they succeed and have a model where transportation become cheaper and more efficient and an individual owning a car becomes an option rather than

The main asahi dev is a reverse engineering legend who previously worked on both Nintendo Wii and PS3/4. I think the apple hardware is probably easier to reverse than those platforms.

100% agreed. Would be interesting to see how an application by Muhammad with a Penn State degree compares to a John with an Oral Robert’s degree when applying to a neutral institution.

Unfortunately there are 2 serious drawback to this: 1. Non replaceable/rechargeable battery 2. No support for directional tracking using U1. It’s just the standard find my networks Bluetooth beacon and the ability to emit a sound. Not

Cloudflare does DNS and domain registration. They are subject to US laws but they have been very hands off and pro free speech (too much IMO, protecting abhorrent sites) but that does give more trust in this case.

If you grow up with metric none of these assumptions apply. You learn that 0C is cold, 20C is nice and 40C is hot. At what F do you need to worry about snow? like 30ish? Metric this is 0C so there's usefulness both ways.

Receiving power from where? 40MW is the capacity of a medium sized wind farm. The larger tunnel configuration uses 1.38GW. That’s more than most large scale coal or nuclear plants. Even if they could obtain the supply from a plant operator
