Where is the evidence that most of the volume came from wsb users? Genuinely curious because I don't know the details. Is it possible that a third party saw the situation and joined in?

He is more MBA than engineer at this point. Just because he doesn't have the letters doesn't mean he isn't deploying the knowledge and approach of an MBA. His companies have successfully deployed plenty of MBA-style strategie

The competitors will be fine unless Apple broadens away from SoCs (which isn't in line with Apple's walled garden approach, so I doubt it). There will always be a market where footprint and performance per watt are not issues. ie.

I agree but it's close to looking decent - some basic design changes (especially typography) will go a long way.

This rationalization isn't acceptable to me. They have gladly set up the infrastructure to handle a high volume of new information and it should go both ways.

Good to see https://signedbywoz.com/ is still up and running. I've had the signed Apple II schematic hanging in my office for over five years and I unexpectedly find it to be a constant source of inspiration.

The announcement video is quite intense and feels odd for some reason. Maybe it's the aspect ratio or cold intro - not sure. https://youtu.be/z80K3-q3Kqg

Standards are always evolving and act more as a compliance tool than anything right now. There have been and probably always will be better metrics for "valuing" a business than GAAP financial statements alone. Companies choosing

This is a good overview in layman's terms - but as with most things it can get much more complex. e.g. deferred revenue is a liability and although close, it is technically not really money that is borrowed. (It reflects services/

I agree with the shared sentiment that FFmpeg is awesome. It's the only way I can get mkv converted for playback in browsers. I believe that browsers don't support mkv/aac natively because of licensing but I would be interest

I am fortunate to have had a colleague explain it to me but this is my understanding as well. Normally the cleavage would take time with possible undesired effects as a result of the process.

To add: Choosing which risks to tackle should definitely be weighted by difficulty, impact and available resources. Also, this feels like it's forcing an external portfolio manager view on the internal operations of a startup. Nothing

I agree we haven't seen the Apple "Blockbusters" everyone got used to. Although many (like yourself?) are looking for leadership in creativity and higher risk endeavors, Tim Cook certainly has more business acumen which shoul

Side note: How does this go from front page to Page 5 (Rank 120+) within an hour while having 100+ points and 150+ comments? I'm assuming downvotes and users not interested in the topic but still seems extreme to me.
