Any idea what kind of permitting or permission they had to go through to launch this? I'm assuming you can't just take what's basically a missile and go into the dessert and shoot it without the FAA knowing about it.

It started off as a fork of d7 (really very early d8) but it's since diverged into it's own thing. It still has a core that is d7 compatible, so migrating is very simple (you can import a d7 database and it just works), but the th

Drupal is very popular in government and higher education. It's a very flexible and non-opinionated CMS, so it's easy for a developer to build something really crappy with it by not following best practices. When Drupal 8 first wa

Drupal is seriously worth another look if you haven't used it in a while. It's really a mature CMS that was completely rewritten a number of years ago. There's also currently an initiative underway to make a new "distro&

I've wondered if it would be better for electronics to be just thrown out in regular trash. I know they have some hazardous materials in them, but when spread out in low levels across landfills maybe its better than concentrating them

You left out that the officer who shot and killed him did so by accident during the arrest. The police are not out there killing people "for" betting as you said. https://web.archive.org/web/20110615051217

Yep, same. The process is obtuse, maybe intentionally to weed out bots and scammers too stupid to read instructions. But if you are legit and know what you are doing it was fairly straightforward, just pretty slow to hear back.

I also use Twilio for a hobby project. When the 10DLC changes came down I found it pretty confusing. I was able to keep my current pricing by purchasing a toll free number (trivial cost) and filling out a Word doc explaining how my website

Prior to legalized sports betting, was "state violence" used against people who bet on sports as a casual hobby? It seems like it was basically tolerated as long as it was kept amongst friends/coworkers, etc.

Looks nice. One reason why I use a spreadsheet for stuff like this is I can share it with my wife through Google Sheets, so we can periodically update with our separate accounts.

Wild, I knew Frontier as an ISP in upstate NY that only provided DSL service with abysmal speeds. I assumed they would just die off, but I guess not.

I've always been told resumes should be limited to a single page, one sided. At some point that means you have to drop old jobs from the list. Nobody really cares what your first job out of college was when you are 40.
