U of R student (and former resident of rural upstate NY) here, we would have been glad to have you!

Yeah I was disappointed to see a lack of flash as well, especially since it advertises itself as a microframework and all.

Same with me (I frequent IWYW as well!). I think Turntable has turned into a more niche product for people like us. I enjoy interacting with my music, and actually like the fact that I have to spend extra "brain cycles" on it. It might not

So what's the application of finding these sorts of primes? (I don't mean to sound like a dick or anything, I'm genuinely curious what this kind of knowledge can help us with).

I've actually been working on and off on a multiplayer HTML5 game for a while now. https://github.com/stevenleeg/thegrid2_client - for anyone who's interested. It's a pretty simple brand of RTS, so a lot of the realtime code could be used

For most simple servers/projects I use Debian/some sort of linux, so I'm pretty unknowledgeable but curious about the BSD side of things. What are the advantages/differences of using bsd over any other linux distro? Edit: For anyone interes

A lot of what they're showing off (in terms of design) has been similarly implemented in OS X (through iTunes, iPhone, etc.) and it's been very successful. How has it not worked in the past and why don't you think they can pull it off?

It looks pretty reasonable to me... They don't want child porn and rape videos on their servers. I honestly don't see the problem here.

Since when has Siri been "an embarrassment for Apple?"

That's why it would be stupid to stick this on a street. In places like airports or offices, where drug addicts are going to be significantly less numerous, something like this makes a lot more sense.

If only there were an API for mouse capturing. Is there any reason why it couldn't work if it were implemented like full screen mode (displaying a message telling the user to press escape to reclaim the mouse)? Edit: Actually it looks like

The title of this is a bit sensational. Gates only said that it was a "strong possibility" that Apple would have to do something similar to the "no compromise" strategy of the Surface.
