It's not that the Steck Salathe (and other long traditional climbs) are mis-graded, it's the breadth of competencies required by them.

Yeah, and it's more than just the grade too. The Steck Salathe [1] is "only" 5.9, but I suspect it would rebuff ~60% of "5.12 climbers" [1]: http://www.supertopo.com/rock-climbing/Yosemite-Valle

Every grade at some point is considered the hardest, but what I suspect you're referring to is the Yosemite Decimal System [1] which postulated 5.9 as the hardest grade possible (5.1 and 5.10 are the same from a numeric point of view).

The high levels of ethanol in spirits slow the oxidation down tremendously. Unless you're taking over a year to go through a bottle I wouldn't sweat it. If you're worried about it, you could always transfer the spirits to sma

In Portland (where I was and still reside) it was pretty ugly. Pretty much everyone I knew in tech was unemployed for long-ish periods. I gave up hunting and started my own business freelancing - did that for over ten years. That gradually

I really admire how Steve has remained independent and continued to create fun, imaginative games year after year. Truly one of gaming's greats. For those who might not be familiar, a fun episode from SJG past... http://en.w

Photoshop CS6? Well that's not surprising. Adobe abandoned that and it isn't even supported on 10.9. Why are you surprised that there are problems on 10.10? You can hardly blame Yosemite for that.

Rounded corners and gradients can both be handled without images these days, but even if you use images for things like that, that bandwidth (certainly) and number (probably) of photos dwarfs them.
