Gosh, I didn't know it was that bad - I didn't know it was used for so many different things.

Keep going, you'll get there. Yeah, explaining is hard. As someone who is not involved in game development I admit I didn't really understand your description about it being an API but not a game engine. But keep going, you'r

Oh boy, I love this aesthetic. That font, amazing. Apparently I'm much more into the 90s look than the 80s pixel art.

Mostly I just keep seeing all the references to "ajax" in the title image and wondering how old that stock photo is.

Not the person you're replying to, but I don't get how your argument applies here. JS functions could already return promises. Some of them being declared as async doesn't change anything for the consumer does it? (In general

Mostly I seem to be looking at some pretty great looking clouds and some (fake?) satellite imagery, but not seeing any people or armies or anything. And then every now and then it sort of glitches out and resets everything. I'd love to

That one looks pretty nifty. I bought a Keychron mechanical keyboard with its quietest switches and was a bit burnt by the experience - way louder than anything I want to use. But yeah, I believe you that the technology has improved. Thanks

I really really hope more companies get into this space. The amount of carbon to be saved by replacing concrete with something else is gargantuan.

Oh interesting. I use their "old stack" for a couple of much smaller projects and it works fine, but it does seem a bit ridiculous to be starting up a whole chrome instance just to convert one file format to another.

But older versions contain lots of crap we don't need (eg <blink> tags) and miss out on useful stuff (grid layout).

I'm not quite sure what your point is. You can end a friendship with anyone for any reason. It usually takes more effort to keep it going than to end it.

>Changing up the terms minimizes the very shared experience your friendship was built on Yes, and that's when you find out whether the friendship was merely "built on" that experience, or is entirely composed of it. I have

In my area there has been a program for years where you can sign up to mount a device like this to your bike for pretty much this exact same purpose. From memory it goes behind your seatpost thougho which seems less annoying.

It's almost impossible for anything to compete with Google Maps on business information because they have built such a vast commercial ecosystem around it with advertising, Maps users etc.
