I had a vision for a fun project, made decisions, tried to understand why to make certain decisions or what was working or not. I didn't write the front page index.html and I don't want to. Sure, I prompted it how I wanted to look

I opened Obsidian, wrote down the steps that I performed + pieces claude did. Most of what I did was little troubleshooting bits or hooking things together. That + every little quirk or weird thing I ran into (eg: phantom process killer, wh

You do not need to buy a phone plan with it (although they hope you will).

Claude Code made the simple little home page and did much of the configuration of the system inside andronix. The phone is available at Walmart for $25.

Of course not, just the client. But it did make real tool calls on the client device and write + modify existing config, troubleshoot and get it running, which is still pretty damn cool in my eyes

That's awesome! Totally agree.

Cloudflare is not acting as a CDN and every request is actually hitting the phone. Check out the CF-Cache-Status: dynamic header

I think your comment is meant to imply I don't know what I'm doing.

Eh, nitpicking I think. It really was $25 and anyone in driving distance of a Walmart can pay 25 real USD and grab one. For sure they are losing money on the hardware in hopes that you subscribe to the plan.

Termux alone seems really quirky to me. Andronix fakes "having root" as I understand and I was able to get more of the services I wanted running on it. https://github.com/termux/proot-distro looks really inte

I'm using claude code and making stuff. I'm keeping an eye and being aware of these new tools but I wait for the dust to settle and see if people switch or are still hyped after the hype dies down. X / HackerNews are good for

I think the intent of prompt engineering is to get better solutions quicker, in formats you want. But yeah, ideally the model just "knows" and you don't have to engineer your question

Love a good clicker game, but I think some of the mechanics need adjusted. I got it up to a certain point and then came back to the browser tab after an hour or so and had broken the game and bought all the things. edit: maybe I saw the sci

Cool but...it doesn't work, like pizza returns pizza.org and pizza.net as free.

that is very fucking cool. Well done! Any resources to learn about this stuff? Always been into synths so I'm interested in this

Well yeah, you can eat 1k+ calories in 30 minutes easy. But to "lose" the same amount of weight you'd need rigorous exercise over multiple hours.

C'mon. Super pretentious viewpoint to think that employees at Waffle House are illiterate enough that they can't assemble orders without symbols.

That's cool -- can I ask what backend you're using to generate the images? I'd like to build a similar web app but looking for something that won't break the bank!

If he had the power to raise the price on-demand, he'd do so all of the time since he owns stock and might even have performance bonuses tied to stock price. I highly doubt layoffs are execs sitting in a room scheming to make money but

definitely exciting to see more local clients come out. As mentioned in other comments, there are some great ones out already. I've used automatic1111 which is quick and doesn't require a ton of tuning. But it still has lots of kn

This isn't cached. I'm running it locally on a 4060 TI 16 GB and it's just as fast. Image gens in .6-.8 seconds. Each word or character I type is a new image gen and it's INSTANT.
