To me it means some degree of being able to continue with necessary production despite global disruptions due to political disagreement, war, disaster, etc. For example, a major push to bring more semiconductor production to the US was moti

Sure. "The definition of terrorism is controversial and political." How governments, media, etc. use that word is often politically loaded and not based on some agreed objective definition.

Right. "The definition of terrorism is controversial and political" Although I mostly recall the word "insurgent" being used for local fighters in those cases.

The definition of terrorism is controversial and political, so there isn't a hard answer. But I think a general distinction is the targeting of combatants vs civilians. There is a difference between infiltrating military or para-milita

Yeah, optimizing for economic output isn't the only factor to consider. Having some degree of geopolitical independence and leverage matters when things go off of the happy path for whatever reason.

I agree that Apple being stubborn is part of this, but also the point of the DMA / antitrust in general is that large companies that control their own markets can't do some of the same things that less influential companies in the

Agreed. But Kanban also often incorporates some of the processes from Scrum like daily standups that aren't prescribed anywhere in Agile. Personally I find it more useful to organize things around useful product milestones that are act

Right, so when someone says they are doing Agile instead of Scrum but don't like it because of the invasive status meetings, they're probably actually doing some form of Scrum whether or not they realize it.

The current per cell is still the same. 800V charging just means that you put cells in series banks to achieve an ~800V module-level voltage. Current is reduced in the main charging cables, charge port, and pack fuse/contactor, but not

Nothing novel about this specific bit of news. Tesla funds an employee shuttle rail service to a station at their factory. That service is now using battery-electric trains which are off the shelf models from Siemens. Battery-electric passe

The "Giga train" is an off-the-shelf battery electric train that Siemens already produces. Tesla just funded their use on this shuttle line for employees of their factory.

Not really novel here. Tesla funds this employee shuttle route to their factory and it is now using off-the-shelf Siemens Miero B battery-electric trains. It's a nice service to provide, and nice that the electric car factory is served

The only real connection to Tesla is that it's a Tesla-funded employee shuttle to a station on Tesla factory property. The trains are indeed Siemens Miero B and the line is operated by Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn. https://www.r
