It's always easy to propose alternative ideas when everything else is going "good".

Similar reaction; it was a plug to sell the book.

Misleading title. There was no "hack of Signal" but the authentication services, instead.

The bloomberg article appeared like a planted pitch to discredit the India's success in exports.

I remember Apple never communicating about its intentions clearly around its advertisement business. It was clear at the outset that its App Store business is lucrative (with all the details of its users). Will it kill the golden goose (aka

Edge-VPN is primarily Cloudfare. Now Cloudfare has potentially even "more" data about users. They don't have an ad platform, yet. What will stop Cloudfare from accumulating and then targeting the users through "Bing-Ads

There's no point in being paranoid about "privacy". Where's the perfect privacy? I have been with Fastmail for over 14 years now, and I didn't feel the need to abandon them for other "privacy toting email servi

I'd shift to Firefox when the world around me crashes. And Burns. Till then, I am using Vivaldi.

Never encountered advertisements using AdGuard with Vivaldi. I listen to many podcasts there; no issues. On Android, I sideloaded a modded YouTube app without issues. Besides, I can use Kiwi Browser with specific extensions to allow YouTube

Hello to a few Box Navy user! I thought I was in the minority :-)

A huge fan of the Kailh Box Jades or Navies. They feel "heavier" when I type, and create an awful amount of rattle, but the most satisfying to type! Using a lightly modded keyboard, and can't comment much on the build quality

I thought these loonies were on Reddit; HN has also seen an influx of them. What has the political affiliations of an individual got to do with a product? The discussion is about Zoho Office Suite. How does the "right-wing" featu

I totally love this! IMHO worth the upgrade. Kudos. This solves one of my biggest pain points on my Ultrawide monitor. Excellent layouts/fonts and dark mode. Perfect!

Even better! Kudos to the team. A viable alternative to 1Password and others. I agree there are open source alternatives available, but I prefer to pay for the premium version, which works across all devices. Good stuff.

BitWarden user here. Everything in 1Password minus the toxic optimism, standards compliant migration (1Password can't import from BitWarden, but other way round works) and one fourth of the subscription costs. BitWarden is easy to mana

It reads like an advert for Vivaldi. I dont have any issues with Vivaldi, but the content of the article is clearly "clickbait" with "Mutt" for the comparison. Highly avoidable write up.

Good for services like Inoreader and Feedly (or others in the space). This will lower the bar for discovery and users will want something better than a plain vanilla reader.
