You are talking about the company that wrote logs to the fully read-write filesystem of their infotainment system and killed the EMMC from raw flash cycles within as few as 2 years. Recalled 10 years later.

And then what? A/B update isn't magic dust, if some sub component ends up with an incompatible firmware because it had to boot to the alternate partition, you might still have an incompatible overall system. (Not like the subsubsu

I'm sure the infotainment system does, but that is not all that is being updated; you have many more processors in ECU, assistance systems and so on that are also sometimes getting fed new firmware over various wonky buses as part of a

But the whole point is that 1) at peak solar times electricity is free (meaning wholly insufficient storage) and 2) the upfront cost of battery storage is rather prohibitive right now, while a hydrogen system is (I'd naively assume) te

It’s not about paying more, it’s about paying the same . The local brand can not avoid the duties on products less than $X, just like you are charged sales tax at the supermarket on a $5 purchase. Thankfully computers exist now so it is re

The reality is that particularly in winter and outside, most recent EV cars will barely gain any charge from a 120V standard power outlet - keeping the battery conditioned eats up all of that power.

It's unhelpful to bundle this into the "GPU" at large and is only true for desktop systems anyway. On mobile, video decoding, GPU and display pipeline are typically different hardware blocks often made by different companies.
