True, but I’d not describe all those associated bits as finicky - they’re stable and very well documented, particularly compared to modern cloud tech.

It’s out of context. Not all adults need or want other adults to ‘build them up’. If you start with some unrelated positive thing, it will be recognized as a manipulation technique because context tells us there’s no other reason to raise

I think I’m general projects are managed worse than they were 25 years ago. As the years go by and Agile gets further entrenched there is more time lost to ceremonies and rituals and less time spent solving real problems that provide value

I'd extend this to anyone on friendly terms with them, so both major political parties, PGA, etc. These are their supporters enabling all of their behavior.

Ridiculous. Facebook has been hassling me for years. I’d never work there for any amount of money nor will I communicate with their hounds. I don’t owe them anything. If recruiters don’t want to be ignored they need to represent ethical

They should also ask how many favor total ban on all trade with China. I suspect that sentiment is much more popular than they’d like to admit. TikTok would of course be banned along with everything else.

It used to be like this in the US too. I’m still uncomfortable returning things because that’s how it was when I grew up. Walmart and e-commerce are when this all changed.

Once upon a time I lived in the suburbs, but on the weekend I’d head up to the north woods and need the clearance and towing ability. Hard to understand someone’s use case unless you know them and their lifestyle.

Many roads in rural areas are unimproved and the extra clearance is a necessity. Towing moderately heavy stuff like boats also work better with the higher frame of an suv. So, about the same internal size plus these benefits makes it the

Agree so much. Prior to git, I used several version control systems and none required me to memorize more than 3 or 4 simple commands. I hate git more than any other software, such a tedious waste of time.
