Since I gave them the work, I don't need them to summarize what I already know. Waste of time. I'd rather they continue working on their assigned tasks.

I really do appreciate that my current employer doesn't do this crap. I haven't done one of these in close to 10 years now.

I worked on a system deployed on AIX for a few years. We used it to distribute batch workloads in parallel across a cluster of machines - no other software and OS did such a thing, maybe still doesn't. The machines themselves were Po

As someone who is neither a fan or hater, this was almost incomprehensible. So you think someone's politics are boring? Why? Nothing I read told me. Is there a problem with someone else's politics being boring to you? Why woul

Eh, I have a farm and while I was initially excited, the lack of tow range is a dealbreaker. If you have livestock, you need to be able to pull a gooseneck trailer. Since this can't do that for any useful distance, you'd have to

That fallacy asserts a judgement that natural=good. I'm not claiming that. We have physical needs just like other members of the natural world - food for example, if we can't provide food for ourselves, we'll starve to death

Taking a break from my struggle just like a lion takes a nap. I wouldn't agree we are copying nature, rather, we are an inseparable part of it. The fact that we do some things other members don't isn't a convincing argument

Every other living thing on the planet spends most of it's time just fighting to survive. I think that's evidence it's not a 'made up idea' and likely may be what life is actually about.

The building part is not a novel problem and probably not very interesting. I'm not a product person, so I don't have an alternative suggestion, but unless someone could explain to me how they plan to do it without advertising, I

I wouldn’t bother. I’ve been using it for 25 years, but only because it’s available everywhere. I would never use it as a code editor. For me it’s a skill to be able to edit files in any unix environment and I leave it at that.

If I tried to work in my yard while it’s raining it would cause too much damage that’s too much work to repair . I don’t even do yard work for a couple days after it rains. This is solely for practical reasons for me.
