I really want to switch to FUTO keyboard but there are a few UX issues that prevent me. For example, SwiftKey lets you swipe left to delete a word, which is very useful, but FUTO doesnt, you have to start from the Backspace button. Or, Swif

I think that, for it to learn a word, you need to actually press the middle suggestion, not just space. I'm not sure, though. Couldn't you add your surname as a custom word?

I don't know, he said "subscriptions" in the line items, but eg I use Deepseek via the API.

Not the GP, but I use Opus for planning, Deepseek for actual coding (implementing the plan) and GPT for review. GPT is inexhaustible on the $20/mo plan, Deepseek is dirt cheap (maybe $10/mo) and Claude is Claude.

I didn't read it that way. "Please allow us to use your IP to download data" is way more consenty than I thought these apps would get.

The summary doesn't go into the context, it's for human consumption. The CoT itself goes into the context.

Oh hm, I've never seen this. API prices have always been exorbitant, I'm sure they're making good margins on that. Let's hope they aren't losing as much on subscriptions, because I'm not ready for everything to

Your point was expressed well and makes sense. I tend to have the LLM explain the PR to me and I'll do a back and forth with it on the various decisions in the PR and their ramifications. That seems like a better way than reviewing eve

We're all sure they have big margins in their raw API, it's the subscription we're claiming is subsidised.

Yeah, exactly the same for me. Or I've heard it as "pitch a tent", where I assume it's used as "set the tent up", not "throw the tent".

I agree with this, my disagreement was strictly with saying that the current open models are as good as Opus.

Windows has had a few of these "look online" options for decades now, to look up unknown extensions, to find drivers for unrecognised devices, etc. Not a single time in the many, many years of using Windows did any of those ever f

If K2 or GLM 5.2 are on par with Opus 4.8 I'll eat my hat. They're good, but they're not that good. Deepseek V4 Pro has been better than Sonnet for me, but the only model that comes close to or surpasses Opus 4.8 is GPT-5.5

Because, due to how cryptography works, nobody other than the entity holding the signing key (ie the one that deployed the satellites) can produce valid signatures for that key.
