I tried JetBrains prior to using VSCode for my C++ stuff. JetBrains would run one or more cores at 100% for extended periods of time when building apps containing linux headers + wt headers + boost headers (this wasn't for the compile

Perhaps with all the deplatforming, delisting, and other deleterious effects, all the 'good' content is removed, while at the same time those removals are affecting their machine learning data sets. It is almost a self-imposed ad

Does Alpine have an auto-deploy solution similar in function to Debian's Preseed ability? If Alpine can be auto-deployed, and as comments here indicate, may have a smaller installation footprint, it might have merit for some high-inst

It is nice that they do call out the performance issues with CLion. Because of that, and because of CLion's perpetual use of cpu during text editing, I switched over to VSCode on Linux. It does code completion and error indication ve

But there isn't a one to one relationship. A subnet should only be in one vlan, but there are networks where there is more than one subnet in a vlan. Whether that is appropriate or not, that would be a different topic.
