Putting aside for a moment that 30% of nothing is nothing, where are you even getting this idea that someone got a 30% tax reduction? Look at the plot you shared "Personal Taxes: Federal Income Taxes by Quintiles of Income Before Taxes

I think it really depends on your use case, your commute, and lifestyle. For me an EV has been great, but it’s not my only car. I can charge at work for free, or at home with solar. Even if I’m paying 30-60 cents/kWh, it’s way cheaper

The USA has no negative income tax. There are programs like the EITC which provide benefits to the poor and can be larger than their tax burden depending on the specific circumstances. The EITC was initially signed into law by Ford (R) and

It’s your link buddy, just quoting your own source. $780 is insignificant. Tax policy is written by humans, and they can do what they like with it. If you want to cut taxes for the poor, you do. If you want to cut taxes for the ultra weal

> The tax savings were relatively small for many families, however. The middle fifth of earners got about a $780 tax cut last year on average, according to the Tax Policy Center. > The top 20 percent of earners received more than 60 p

How much extra do you need? Enough that a pilot/crew doing their job properly will never run out of fuel and crash. So yes they will do an "investigation". It's not a criminal investigation. It's to understand the c

I tried to buy a Prusa. Even after I paid them they couldn’t tell me when the order would ship or be delivered. Instead they pointed me at some webpage with a lead time table? Pretty sure the table also changed/slipped over the eight d

Say it ain’t so- a right winger who is either intentionally lying or can’t do basic math. Will it be someone else’s fault? Will they admit their mistakes and change their opinions? Or will they brush aside their published reasoning and say

There isn’t any meat in the article. It’s just an ad for a company claiming their AI model/tool/? will increase grid efficiency.

I don’t want it to open google maps or ask me to open google maps. Stop trying to make things worse for everyone. Google maps and google.com shouldn’t prompt either. No prompts.

Climate change is the source of negativity? In the 90s there was the hole in the ozone layer. Instead of acting like the slack jawed idiots in the current administration and basically saying “LOL FUCK YOU NERDS”, we banned CFCs. Nothing you

How do you think Target and Walmart work? They pay someone $10 for a widget and mark it up 100% and sell it for $20. App fees have basically been the same amount for all time. Literally every single developer looked at the numbers and decid

I don't see an answer to the question you quoted in your post? It sounds like you are implying that a monopoly classification would somehow be relevant to fee/pricing strategy? The reality is that every company that has a hardware

It isn’t game over, but the path to success clearly wasn’t to buy another company and release a product (that was probably already in the queue) only a year later.

But it isn't tax big corporate America. Did you read the article? It's a 10% tax cut for big corporate America, with some economic poison for blue states in the future.

Not bad faith. In 2006, the AppStore didn’t exist. In 2008, it did. Many people decided that they could sell an app and make a profit. A decade and a half later, the overhead is the same but somehow people think they’re being treated unfair

The “free market” cannot exist. It’s impossible. All you can ever do is trade manipulation. By who and to what agenda.
